Magnesium is a known muscle relaxant but also can help reduce inflammation. It is a cofactor in over 300 reactions in the human body.
There are many different types magnesium. Magnesium glycinate (with added malate) is my favorite combo overall because in addition to muscle relaxation and anti-inflammation, it also can assist with sleep.
Please note, magnesium can have potential side effects of gastrointestinal upset and cardiac issues among other things. As with any medication or supplement, always check with your doctor first before starting it.
Turmeric, the active ingredient of which is curcumin, is a spice that has been around for ages. Multiple studies show its ability to serve as an anti-inflammatory.
How much your body can actually absorb turmeric when you ingest it is always an issue, which is why I chose a liposomal delivery system. A liposomal delivery system can help shield the turmeric from premature breakdown and therefore increase the absorption.

Omega-3 fish oil has been shown in numerous studies to be an excellent anti-inflammatory. It has also been shown to support cardiovascular health. I recommend it often to my patients to reduce inflammation in their joints. It also may promote better nerve health.
